Privacy Policy

This policy explains the current version of AcadCrate: free browser-based tools, no accounts, and contact by email.

Who is responsible

AcadCrate at acadcrate.online is operated by David, based in India. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to patildavid26@gmail.com.

Calculator inputs and results

Calculations and tool searches run in your browser. The current application does not submit your marks, attendance figures, course names, grades, or search text to AcadCrate’s servers.

Calculator entries are held in the page’s memory while you use it. They are not saved by AcadCrate as an academic record. Your browser or device may have its own history or autofill features.

Preferences stored on your device

AcadCrate uses browser local storage to remember your light or dark theme. The Pomodoro timer also saves study and break durations, sound preference, and completed-session count on your device. These preferences are not sent to AcadCrate.

Local storage can remain after you close the browser. You can remove it using your browser’s option to clear site data for acadcrate.online. This resets saved preferences and the timer’s saved count. On a shared device, clear site data when you no longer want those preferences retained.

If you choose to enable timer notifications, your browser asks for permission. Permission can be changed in your browser’s site settings. Timer notifications are generated locally; they are not marketing messages.

Hosting and security

AcadCrate plans to use Cloudflare to deliver and protect the website. When you access the deployed site, Cloudflare may process technical request information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information, and request time for delivery, security, and service operations. Some technical logs may be available to the site operator.

Cloudflare security features may set cookies, depending on the features enabled, such as cookies used to recognise a completed security challenge or detect automated traffic. This is separate from the preferences saved by AcadCrate in local storage.

Read Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy and its cookie documentation. Technical data retention depends on the hosting services and settings used.

Email correspondence

If you contact AcadCrate, your email address, message, and any details or attachments you provide are received through Gmail. They are used to respond, investigate a problem, and handle your request. Sending an email is optional and is not required to use the tools.

Correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle the request and any related follow-up, security, or legal obligations. You can ask for deletion or correction by emailing patildavid26@gmail.com. Verification may be needed to protect another person’s information.

Email is processed by your email provider and Google. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Avoid sending unnecessary personal details or confidential records.

Sharing and service providers

The current application includes no advertising network, visitor analytics script, account system, or contact form. AcadCrate does not sell personal information provided in support messages.

Hosting and email providers process information needed to provide their services. Information may also need to be disclosed where required by law or to address abuse and protect the service. Providers can process data in countries outside India, under their own service arrangements.

Your choices and requests

You can use the tools without emailing us, clear saved browser data, and revoke notification permission. For information about support correspondence held by AcadCrate, or to request access, correction, or deletion, contact patildavid26@gmail.com.

Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and the information involved. Requests are considered under applicable law; information that must be retained for legal or security reasons may not be immediately deleted.

Students and personal information

The tools do not require a student profile, age, name, or student ID. Students should use only the values needed for the calculation and avoid sending personal academic records by email. If you believe a child’s personal information has been sent to AcadCrate unnecessarily, contact us so the message can be reviewed.

Updates to this policy

If the site introduces ads, analytics, accounts, or other collection features, this policy will be updated to describe them. The date above shows when this version was last updated.
